About Me

I grew up in Whatcom County, and have lived in Washington (Silverdale) since 1995. I'm a Kitsap County Master Gardener, but that only means I only know about things I've personally experienced! My residential backyard features three beds; this year, with several new to me! (Brassicas) along with the old faithfuls, and a new pumpkin patch, too. I'm a big believer in intensive planting, but maybe I pushed the envelope this year! I also have two Asian plum trees, a Hollywood and a Shiro, which are very productive, and this has been an excellent year for peas and lettuce!
