The Modern Victory Garden

A half batch of pickled beets - 3 pints. I purposefully do not grow too large of a beet patch because they are not really my family's favorite vegetable. However, I personally like pickled beets and wanted to have a few pints of it on hand for my own use. Photo taken August 29, 2009.
