The Modern Victory Garden

Annie's Granny is a a wife, mother and grandmother. She lives 6 months of the year in Eastern WA and the other 6 months in Western AZ. Her interests include gardening, music, computers, recipes, reading various news groups and, of course, her grandchildren and her two puppies, Annie and Otter (Otto). Her garden is productive and her blog writing is humerous and engaging.

Daphne is a "thinking" gardener who maximizes the small garden area on her property - so that it produces a bounty of produce. She is generous in sharing her knowledge and experience with others.

Derek and Sandy live in the Puget Sound region with their two children, and several animals. Derek is the handy one while Sandy is the practical planner. They live in a 2500 square foot house on an acre of land and are working hard to reduce their energy footprint.

This is the website of the Giving Garden that I do the garden coordination for. It is a large garden tended by volunteers, using all donated resources - and all the organically grown produce is then provided to the Kingston Sharenet Food Bank.
