Hi Laura,

Just a quick question regarding your tomato beds.  In the spring you keep plastic over the tomatoes for weather reasons.  Do you keep the plastic up with hoops or a framing or is it just supported by the tomato cages themselves?  If you use hoop or framing, what type?

Thank you,

Sandy

Sandy, it is just the tomato cages and ladders that do the support work.   If I were going to keep them under cover the entire grow season I would create a taller and more substantial support frame work.   I have actually thought seriously about doing that but always talk myself out of it.
