Grow Your Subversive Plot Today!

Deb at "At Home on Paradise Cove" posted this and I feel compelled to share this too.     This is a wonderful summation of why our Modern Victory Gardens (aka Kitchen Gardens) are so important.    It speaks to all the issues I find so important and try and discuss regularly here on this site and blog.     This is both a fun and an informative video and I encourage you to take a moment and watch it.

This is such a good video. I watched it when Deb posted it and just had "The Italian" watch it.

I didn't expect to watch this whole thing, but it was so interesting I did.

Robin - It really is a good summary of the many reasons I not only garden for myself but try to encourage others to do so as well.

Liz - It is pretty entertaining as well as informative isn't it?!

Dave - I think I may have to hatch up a few more plots. :D

Deb - Thanks for posting it on your site.

It was a good video. Growing ones own food truly is empowering, I love what he said - "Gardening is a gateway drug to other forms of food freedom." I also liked his diagram of America's Subsidy Garden...sadly, this is so true.

Laura,
Thanks for sharing this. I think it also is important to not get overwhelmed. You might not be able to do everything right away but the important part is to start!

Mike - I liked that part about gardening being the gateway drug to other forms of food freedom too! It really is true.

Larry - Very good point. I was just talking to someone about that very notion earlier this week. An all or nothing approach is a sure fire way to being overwhelmed and potentially giving up entirely. .
